As Green & Stone approaches its 100-year anniversary, The Gallery at Green & Stone is launching its biggest Summer Exhibition yet – and the call for entries closes on 3 June 2026.
With prizes worth over £20,000 – including a fully funded solo show valued at £10,000 – this is a major opportunity for emerging artists to showcase their work, connect with collectors, and take the next step in their careers.
Deadline: Wednesday 3 June 2026, 12 noon (BST).
A long-standing cornerstone of the London art scene, Green & Stone has supported artists for nearly a century. Since opening The Gallery in 2018, this commitment has extended into a dynamic exhibition programme dedicated to discovering and championing emerging talent.
As Green & Stone approaches its 100-year anniversary, the 2026 Summer Exhibition places a renewed emphasis on materiality, craftsmanship, and the enduring relationship between artist and medium – celebrating the tools, mediums and objects that support artistic practice.
“We take pride in being many artists’ first rung on the ladder of success. We are a gallery orientated towards emerging artists with incredible talent and potential.”
— Hester Baldwin, Director of The Gallery at Green & Stone
Since 2018, the Summer Exhibition has launched the careers of numerous artists. Previous winners and participants – including Nneka Uzoigwe, Michael Slusakowicz, and Tushar Sabale – have gone on to achieve significant success and recognition.
The guest selection panel selects the shortlist blindly, based purely on the quality of the work. The panel changes each year to ensure variety and diversity across the exhibition.
The exhibition begins with a lively Private View, bringing together artists, curators, collectors, and art lovers to discover the work on display.
Anyone! The competition is open to artists, designers and makers – amateur or professional – from anywhere in the world, aged 18 and over.
A third party (gallery, agent or other representative) may submit work on behalf of an artist, provided they have the artist’s full permission.
